Question

to begin with, because I have already spoken with all.

Could you please enlighten us a bit about ´Samaprakatri, what this means?

Vikramji

The ´Samaprakatri` is a concept of Ayurveda dealing with the body and the mind.

Some...of … have a balanced body and a balanced mind.

There are 3 important qualities within us, Vata Pita and Kapha according to Ayurveda, according to the physical components of the body

Vatabasically means a lot of wavering. Usually a person is dominant with one quality and the other 2 qualities are supportive of that quality.

Let`s say a person is Vata dominant there is 70 % Vata 20 Pita or 10 % Kapha or the other way round, something like that. This combination is formed at the time of birth and it remains the same through your life. As you progress towards awakening as you spiritually grow you move towards a better balance of these three qualities.

But usually these qualities seem the same throughout your life.

So basically Vata is a lot of wavering, you keep shifting you keep changing you keep trying different things. These people go on changing things, they cannot be satisfied with what they have they go on changing things. These are Vata kind of people their body and minds work like that.

They cannot have proper sleep, they cannot eat properly - all of these things are Vata qualities.

Now we come to Pita.

Pita dominant people have a high body temperature. They have a lot of heat in the body and these people cannot control their hunger.

Once they get hungry they can get very angry.

They are also balanced people in some way. There are some good qualities but they can become angry very fast. These people are balanced they are also ready to change. They don’t change as often as the Vata, but they are ready to change, they are flexible.

Kaphadominant people are more calm people. They have huge bodies. They have a big body. For example, Vata people are thin or tiny, or they are too high or too short.

They are not balanced.

Pita have a good height, a good body, everything is quite balanced, except that they can get angry cause they have a lot of body heat.

We have learned about all these things 10 years ago. So whatever I remember I can share from all that.

In that time we were on a completely different diet according to our own body composition. Then we have undergone a lot of diet changes depending to our purpose in our awakening process.

Let`s come back to Kapha.

Kapha people are huge bodied people, have a big body, but they are very calm, composed people.

They are happy with whatever is there. They are happy with what there is. Same job, same house, they don’t get bored. So Vata people always keep changing.

Pita people are a little balanced. And Kapha people don’t like change.

They don’t like to move from their house. They are happy with whatever is there.

Rarely there is a person who has a balance of all these 3 qualities.

So that they have a balance of body they don’t have a sickness or diseases.

They don’t get affected by diseases soon, they are well-protected; they have a strong immune system and they also have a balanced mind.

I am very fortunate that I am such a person by the grace of AmmaBhagavan.

Shall we move to the other questions?

Question

She asked why is it that some people tend to feel to be shaky or have headache or be sleepy after receiving deeksha?

Vikramji

The whole goal of all the processes the deekshas is to be liberated from the mind and also to get liberated from the self.

All the time we are conscious of what is going on in us around us, we are very self-conscious people. Mind is all the time controlling all our movements. We are aware that others are always watching us.

So when we get a deeksha at least for a short time, we are free from the control of the mind for a while.

The body is not so much in control of the mind. That is why the body is freely expressing itself. You start laughing, you lose balance sometimes. The physical body is not in control. Moving sometimes you become like a child. All these things.

You become dizzy because the deeksha makes you become free of the mind at least for a short duration.

All the powerful deekshas are flowing through the Padukas and the Sri Murthi.

The goal of these powerful deekshas is to completely knock you out to make you free of the mind. So that you stay with the experience whatever experience is happening internally. You get in touch with that internal world.

We don’t like to see many things in ourselves, or our ugliness. So when you are free from the mind you become conscious of these things, you start experiencing all these things and balancing your past. So as you experience your past, your unpleasant memories and as you heal your charges you become very spontaneous.

A person who is spontaneous always is an awakened person.

Question

It`s like e.g. when I am with Bhagavan or with groups meditating. I feel very connected and I feel a lot of love but then, when I go back to my normal life, when I work  or I am driving my car, I forget all that and I don’t feel connected again.

What can I do?

(That was a question of several people.)

Vikramji

The problem with man is that we feel separate from each other. There is the sense of separateness we call the sense of self.

You feel separate from the other. So when you are in touch with AmmaBhagavan or you are in the physical presence of AmmaBhagavan or in your Divine Presence the mind becomes weak.

This feeling, the sense of separation becomes very weak and you start connecting to people. Actually you start by connecting to yourself first. The mind is not judging and commenting all the time there is more space and freedom inside. You share that space and freedom with others and start connecting with the other.

So what we must do, what it is we can do to improve our connection with AmmaBhagavan?

There are 3 important things

1. is to strengthen your connection with your Divine, with your AmmaBhagavan

2. for that you have to heal your relationship with your parents because you perceive the whole world all women and men through your father and mother. All this helps you to strengthen your connection with your AmmaBhagavan and when you have the blessings of your parents the negative inside of us becomes very dominant, it becomes very silent.

3. The 3rd and the most important thing is inner integrity by being in touch with yourself, seeing the truth about yourself, accepting your ugliness.

By facing it without judging it and completely balancing it, completely making peace with that quality within you.

We feel foolish sometimes. We feel we are inferior sometimes. We feel we are a failure sometimes, we realize we are jealous, we are this we are that, all that, you have to accept because that is you.

All the time we are lying to others and we are also lying to ourselves.

We are not truthful with ourselves. We are not in touch with reality we are in an imaginary world.

As we practice inner integrity, we are grounded - we come back to the real world.

We are no more assuming, we are no more day dreaming, we are in touch with reality we are in touch with ourselves. And we are also in touch with God.  As you make peace with yourself, you find lot of space, a lot of freedom inside.

As you have that space inside, you are no more narrow inside. You share that freedom with others. This we call this connectedness. So this connectedness comes from staying in the truth. And to stay in your truth about yourself to face that ugliness, you need a lot of strength, and that strength you would draw from AmmaBhagavan.

This is the best way to increase your connectedness with others, with your Divine, with yourself.

Question

How can you overcome fear, indifference, lack of belief and faith, you know, like all around in society... which can actually affect your daily life especially your growing process in your process of awakening, to awaken in consciousness?

Vikramji

See when you try to overcome fear you are only running away form yourself you are running away from truth. At that time whatever is there is fear there is jealousy that is you - that is the truth in that moment. So do not run away from that.

We are very good experts in managing fear in running away from fear escaping from all these truths about ourselves.

So the most important aspect is to accept that fear accept that quality as part of yourself, making peace with that quality. Whenever the mind is uncomfortable with anything it tries to say it is bad, I don’t want it and it tries to push it away.

The mind tries to postpone things and you move away from that truth.

So first see that fear. Fear has a particular response in the body. Your stomach has cramps at that time. There are so many emotions arising in you - your breathing changes and each one of us has particular kind of thoughts. Particular kind of fearful thoughts. Finally it says what will happen to me? And you try to run away from it.

So the best way to stay with that fear or with whatever emotion is coming up, is you must stay with the body response or you must stay with the emotions or thoughts, and that will take you to the past to the origin of that fear or that emotion.

Let us say you are now about 50 years old. First it takes you to another past experience where you are a few months or a few years old and a little bit older than that, and slowly to your childhood through so many stages. At every stage as you experience that fear, there is a liberation, there is peace inside, you feel relief inside.

Then you are ready to face that fear on the next level. That peace prepares you to go the next level of emotion.

As you go on sitting on that fear like a hen sits on its egg, you realize the origin of that fear. And you completely experience that fear invoking the presence of AmmaBhagavan to give you the strength to help you to completely experience the fear.

This fear has its roots at an age when we are not conscious of ourselves, when we are very young. So we heal the charges as we face the origin of this fear.
The first experience of that fear. And you feel a lot of calmness inside and a lot of peace inside when you experience that fear.

For example, you are in a dark room and you stumping everywhere and you find there are snakes everywhere. The moment the light is turned on and you know that is only a rope automatically you are free of that fear in that very moment. There is an immediate liberation from that fear.

And as you go much deeper you start seeing the fear of your father, your mother, your ancestors, of all the animals all of the fear that is stored in the unconscious.

You start seeing that the whole of humanity is stuck in this fear in this insecurity.

You are no more afraid of that fear, to face that fear. There is a passion that arises in us to help others to become free of that fear to confront their past.

This is the best way to get liberated from fear to overcome fear. To face it is the shortest route. To face that you need a lot of courage you have to be a warrior. For that we need to draw that force from AmmaBhagavan, from our inner Divine.
